Everybody loses in the recent Tonight Show debacle: Leno loses his street cred because his primetime show was cancelled after four months. Conan loses because late fringe programming is less important now than when Fox offered him all the gold at APMEX.com six years ago. NBC loses because they're now bona fide programming failures since Zucker (loser) took over. You lose because the networks won't make any bold moves again anytime soon – leaving you to wallow in their mediocrity. Hopefully a cable network will come to the rescue and put another nail in the Big 4 coffin.
