And now deep thoughts, from our new intern.
We have been graced with another bright new intern on the account service level, Brady Bowers - taken under the wing of the great Alison Abbott.
We asked Brady to write-up a little something about himself for us to put on our blog, giving our readers a better look into the culture of VI.
Here it is, straight from Brady himself (what he leaves out is that he is 21yrs old and a senior in OU’s Gaylord school):

I might be going against the grain on this one, but I find myself the happiest on overcast days. Don’t get me wrong; I love a blue sky and sunny day, but if I wake up to sunbeams not overtaking my blinds, well that’s all right with me. I feel comforted and safe in a sense and often wonder if maybe I came into this world on an overcast day. I guess I should ask my parents, but then again it’s kind of fun and mysterious to think such a thing.
This conjures up one of my sayings for life: All who wonder or wander for that matter aren’t lost. I’ve read before that easily distracted people tend to be more creative and I am definitely living proof of that. I always find myself gazing at something but I’m not actually even focused on what my eyes are set on. It’s almost as if whatever I’m looking at is just a temporary resting point for my eyes to let my thought process work its magic. Ever since I was a little kid I have always had an unlimited imagination and was always thinking of the “next” thing. It has stayed with me all through these years and I am very thankful for that because I know that it has helped me get to where I am today.
Music is a significant part of my life. It makes me happy, stirs up certain emotions, brings communities together, and makes memories. I enjoy all sorts and genres of music, but especially if it’s live. Throughout my whole life I have been going to concerts but over the past few years it has increased because I have found my favorite band, STS9, Sound Tribe Sector 9. I like listening to them in the car, in the shower, on the plane, but I LOVE seeing them live. I have seen them over 10 times in Arkansas, Colorado, Oklahoma, and Texas and each time is an experience not to forget. What makes the concert so enjoyable is not just me having fun but everyone I’m around including the band having a blast as well.
Give me an overcast day with STS9 playing and my imagination will create something extraordinary.
